Job Title: Global Sales Director
Location: Florida
Salary: $175k – $200k
Responsibilities
- Increase Brand Awareness: Enhance global recognition within the metal additive manufacturing industry, targeting universities, research institutes, OEMs, suppliers, and end-user customers.
- Global Sales Expansion: Drive and expand global sales by fostering growth among existing accounts, securing new qualified global strategic partners, and targeting new market segments for adoption.
- Customer Insight Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of customer behaviors, trends, and preferences, adjusting sales processes and standards accordingly.
- Strategic Targeting: Create and implement a plan for targeting strategic regions and accounts, actively establishing partners and opportunities to stimulate demand.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and Technical Customer Support.
- Trade Show Participation: Attend trade shows, assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials, and provide exhibition support as needed.
- Sales Metrics Management: Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include revenue growth, customer activity, opportunity management, and sales cycle.
- Value Proposition Translation: Translate technical product and equipment specifications into easily understandable value propositions to differentiate offerings.

- Industry Contacts: Maintain a network of contacts and clients within major industrial customers across various segments in the metal additive manufacturing sector.
- Sales Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing multi-channel sales team.
- Start-up/Scale-up Experience: Experience in, or a strong desire to join, a start-up/scale-up business environment.
- GTM Strategy: Proven track record in creating Go-To-Market Strategies for new and existing products.
- Global Partner Development: Experience in developing and managing global partnerships for distribution.
- Market Intelligence: Strong ability to gather and analyze market intelligence and competitive landscape data.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated results-oriented approach with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Scientific, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 10+ years of professional sales experience in both inside and outside sales or in a commercial leadership position.
- Sales Leadership: A driven sales leader with the ability to create new business through innovation; a proven deal closer with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills across various forms (written, live chat, conference calls, and in-person).
- Proactivity: Must be proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, results-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Customer Relationship Management: Experience in handling customer relationships and managing stressful situations.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 30% for trade shows, customer-facing meetings, and other events, with some international travel as needed.
- Attitude: Possess a “can-do” attitude for all situations, with no task too big or too small to handle.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Florida.
- Legal Right to Work: Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.
