Job Title: Business Development Manager

Essential Responsibilities
- Customer & Account Development

Acquire new customers and expand business with existing accounts

Conduct in-person customer visits and attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events
-
Deliver engaging presentations to individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually

Manage and track sales activity via CRM (e.g., HubSpot)

Segment the market to identify and prioritize niche growth areas
-
Define buyer personas and proactively pursue high-potential prospects

Map out account structures, identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers
-
Cultivate champions within strategic accounts to drive growth

Identify adjacent markets and act swiftly to seize emerging opportunities

- Administrative Duties

Maintain accurate customer data in CRM and ERP systems

Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and other communications

Monitor customer satisfaction post-sale to ensure expectations are met

Re-engage inactive accounts and follow up on prior quotes and referrals

Submit expense reports in line with company policies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, materials science, or a related field—or equivalent experience

Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills

Working knowledge of tools like MS Excel, Word, CRM software, and ERP systems

Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (up to 50%)
