Calibration Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join a growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for calibrating and adjusting a wide range of test and measurement equipment across multiple disciplines — including electrical, flow, pressure, dimensional, temperature, and humidity. The position will also involve performing on-site calibrations at customer premises when required.
Key Responsibilities

Calibrate multi-parameter test equipment across a variety of industry sectors.

Perform calibrations at customer sites as required, ensuring professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Source equipment specifications when needed.

Proactively improve test techniques and expand the calibration portfolio.

Deliver both high-quality and high-throughput work.

Provide timely and accurate data to the administration team.

Maintain fast turnaround times and update job progression systems.

Produce detailed calibration certificates.

Safeguard the integrity of test equipment and standards.

Meet customer requirements and ensure certificate details are provided upon completion.

Record personal activity against KPIs accurately.

Maintain a tidy and well-organised work environment.
Essential Competencies
-
Diploma in Electrical Technology (or related discipline) from a technical/community college, or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in the instrumentation industry or an electrical/electronic role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and sound mathematical ability.

Knowledge of quality standards and systems.
