Job Title: Technical Key Account Manager – Powder Technology

A motivated, performance-driven Technical Key Account Manager is sought to join the Powder Technology team, responsible for the North American market. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, developing business, providing technical support, and building strong customer networks. The main markets served include defense, automotive, and industrial sectors. Placement is in North America.
About the Position
The Technical Key Account Manager will collaborate closely with the Powder Technology and Protection teams, providing technical sales and implementation support. The primary focus is to drive technical sales in the region, visit customers, and develop new leads and opportunities for powder products. This includes delivering effective methods and strategies in line with the company’s goals and values.
Main Responsibilities

Develop and secure yearly sales with existing and potential customers in the region through technical support.

Independently prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals. Pursue sales with both existing and new customers. Negotiate offers including prices, delivery times, and other terms.

Support customers in development and implementation of Powder Technology products.

Work with the ASM to develop strategic goals for the region, breaking them down into concrete sales and development activities.

Align activities with short- and long-term strategic goals.

Ensure safety in all work, share risk observations, and help colleagues act safely.

Manage and support customer projects that may be global in scope, regardless of geography – frequent travel is required.
About You

University degree or equivalent.

Solid technical skills with a minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in the steel, defense, or automotive industries. Strong knowledge of defense, automotive, and industrial sectors.

Experience in additive manufacturing is highly valued.

Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills in English.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.

Comfortable working independently or in collaboration with technical support functions and team members, depending on the circumstances.
