Position Title: Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is primarily responsible for driving sales by providing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements through advanced machine tool technology. This role focuses on both the development of new accounts and the retention of existing customers.

Build and foster long-term customer relationships.

Promote company products while providing technical sales support.

Collaborate with Applications Engineers to assess customer equipment needs.

Develop, present, and respond to proposals based on customer requirements.

Recommend improved machinery or materials to customers.

Conduct proactive customer visits to review outstanding engineering and service-related issues, while identifying strategic sales opportunities (minimum of 25 visits per week).

Visit customer facilities to resolve complex engineering challenges.

Submit timely and accurate reports, including weekly Territory Planning and MIS reports, as well as expense reports in accordance with policy.

Participate in semiannual visits to OEM factories located in Japan, Germany, Italy, and China.

Develop both strategic and tactical plans to achieve annual sales goals.

Partner with engineering staff for product demonstrations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or technical field from an accredited university.

3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
