The Role
A new Sales Manager position has been created to drive commercial growth across target markets. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution shaping to tender response, negotiation, and closing, while building trusted, long-term customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Define and lead a commercial development roadmap: identify target clients/markets, anticipate needs, and build structured prospecting actions.
- Qualify opportunities, advise customers on requirements, and craft tailored, high-value proposals with internal team support.
- Manage and win strategic tenders; prepare and track commercial dossiers end-to-end.
- Forecast and budget order intake; rigorously manage pipeline in CRM (Salesforce) and reporting tools.
- Negotiate and close to maximise business profitability.
- Develop and retain key accounts by fostering trust, proximity, and a deep understanding of stakeholder needs.
- Monitor market and competitor activity; represent the business at trade shows and industry events to spot new opportunities.
- Feed insights back to continuously evolve our commercial strategy.
Travel: ~30–50% (France & international).
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in business or a technical field and 3+ years’ proven business development experience in technical/industrial or high-value services environments.
- End-to-end sales mastery: prospecting, project identification, tender response, negotiation, closing.
- Relationship-builder with strong commercial drive; curious, proactive, persistent, and professional in market representation.
- Comfortable at trade shows and in ongoing market/competitor monitoring.
- Professional English required. Knowledge of the Medical and/or Energy sectors is a plus.
